The day begins at Puesto Cagliero refuge with a warm breakfast with the guide who will accompany you. The guide provides a brief summary of the excursion and useful advice for it.

Then, after having the equipment and backpacks ready, we set out on the road where we will travel the first hours with spectacular views of the Cagliero glacier. Once we arrive at the end of the valley, we enter the vía ferrata area where we will put on our safety equipment and continue on our way, gaining height and more impressive views of the valley.

At the end of the vía ferrata, we will walk through a pristine high mountain area where you can feel the immensity and the wild aspect that Patagonia preserves in some of its corners. Here we will also have a moment to contemplate the area and eat the lunch box.

Upon arrival at the ice, we will put on our crampons and walk on the Lagunas Gemelas glacier to enjoy the experience of walking on an ancient glacier and contemplate the views that this incredible place offers us.

At the end of the journey, after living the ice experience, we’ll come back by the same route to arrive to the refuge at 16hs aproxximately.
