The day begins early at Puesto Cagliero with a warm fire and a nutritious breakfast. After packing, at approximately 7am, the trekking begins with the guide through the valley of  Laguna del Diablo until we reach the via ferrata, where we will make the first stop to drink something fresh and put on safety equipment. At the end of this ferrata, with impressive views of Cagliero Glacier, and almost 300 meters higher than the starting point  from the starting point, we reach the valley of Lagunas Gemelas with a view of Neumeyer glacier where we will  make a second stop to eat a snack and continue on the way to the summit. 

The 30th Anniversary Hill of 2029 masl offers a 360 view that includes the Southern Ice Field,  Mount Fitz Roy ,  Cerro Torre and the valleys of the Rio Electrico and Las Vueltas.

After approximately 6 hours of ascent and having contemplated the views from the summit, we begin our  way back to the Cagliero refuge where we will be received with hot drinks and a delicious dinner to restore energy and rest comfortably.
